The Word 'Bitch'

Co-written by Jamie Ayling,

The word ‘bitch’ is an incredibly sexist and derogatory thing to call another human being and I would never use it in a million years. That’s what I used to think... until I met a bitch. Now I see the light. I see that ‘bitch’ is the absolute perfect word to describe that kind of person and I am in full support of the word.

There is a training course that can be taken so people can get certified in calling people bitches.

Sigourney Weaver in the movie Alien calls the alien a bitch. This is a prime example of someone who has tak- en the course and become certified in calling someone/ something a bitch. The Alien situation makes me think of the “self defense” standard. It’s normally bad to call someone a bitch but you can call someone a bitch when it’s justifiable, just like you can kill someone else to save your own life.

I think what all this boils down to is that “it’s not sexist if it’s true”. That’s what instructor Gina Foalsworth teaches in the course. If somebody is acting like or worse, being, a bitch, you should have the right to call them that (once you’ve passed the final exam). Gina Foalsworth is a language expert from Kenucky, New York. She will guide you through the nuances of the word ‘bitch’ and make you feel safe using it in public spaces. Once participants have passed the course they will be issued a plastic debit-like card stating that they are legally allowed to call whoever they deem worthy a ‘bitch’. (Card must be on person at all times).
